FreeProxyThemes.com Terms and Conditions of Use

FreeProxyThemes.com provides themes and templates for free to be used to change the look of web proxy sites. They are provide free of charge providing the license conditions are met and kept to, this usually involve keeping any backlinks, as specified in the license file. The license files are included in the theme download files for easy reference. The backlinks are required by the sponsors as a condition of use and some footer link codes are encrypted to make compliance easier. Removal of these links will void the license and make using the themes without these links illegal. More links can be added but the included links must be kept. This enables us to provide these themes for free and your compliance with license requirements is essential for continued use.

 

You Must...

You must change the theme/template variables to your own, i.e. advertiser publisher codes, website name, page/visitor counter code as well as the site content and link text to reflect your own website and the domain the web proxy is on, if you don't change them to your own you could miss out on the advertising revenue generated and may even be giving that revenue away to someone else, this is your responsibility and yours alone.

The themes and templates usually include instructions on how to do this and you should read those instructions thoroughly if you are unfamiliar with installing web proxy themes and templates onto your hosting. If you are having difficulty with installing them you can use the contact page to ask for my help (not free) or you can use one of the many forums (like netbuilders.org or forums.digitalpoint.com or proxy.org/forum for example) and ask for help there or just use google to search for what you need.

You may use these themes and templates on as many web proxy sites as you wish (within the license conditions), you may even sell the complete web proxy sites with the theme or template included and installed, but you may not sell the themes or templates separately, they are available for free from this website. You may also put these themes and templates on your own website as long as they are available for free and are not altered in any way, all license conditions must be met. You can only re-distribute these themes and templates for free, they must not ever be sold for profit or altered in any way before re-distribution.

 

You Must Not...

You must not remove any backlinks in the footer part of the themes and templates, these footer links are provided by the sponsors and are a condition of use. Where specified you may be able to pay a removal or licensing fee to change the links but only if available. You must always keep a backlink to FreeProxyThemes.com when there is one, there are no removal fee options and there will be no exceptions to this requirement. This helps to keep the themes provided by FreeProxyThemes.com free for use by anyone.
